(Panama City, FL - July 12, 2004) Bay Town Trolley representatives are elated as June data shows that total ridership numbers for the first six months of 2004 are 60% higher than for the same time period in 2003 and 98% higher than the same time period in 2002. By maintaining low fares and making continuous route improvements Bay Town Trolley is set to shatter last year's record-breaking ridership of 114,844.

Within the next few months Bay Town Trolley will unveil the most recent set of route improvements and will be working on plans for the installation of benches and shelters throughout the coverage area; enhancements that will surely contribute to this community's growing use of public transportation.
