(Panama City, Fla.) - Representatives from Bay Town Trolley are excited to welcome new general manager, Lee Bragg, to the system. As the trolley rolls into 2008, he will be responsible for day-to-day operations, including management of drivers and oversight of service. Bragg joins the team after serving 20 years in the U.S. Navy. Here, he was not only a Data Analyst but also served as a Transportation Petty Officer.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lee into the trolley family,” said Beth Coulliette, Executive Director for the Bay Town Trolley. “I’m confident that his transportation background and passion for the community will be a great fit for the system as we continue to meet the transportation needs of Bay County.”

Having recently moved to the area, Bragg notes that ‘giving back’ is of key importance to him and one of the primary reasons he was attracted to the general manager position. While at the trolley, he will focus efforts on serving the main constituents – the riders.

“After retiring from the Navy, I quickly realized that I was too young to sit around idle – I had so much more to give. Thus far, working with the drivers, riders and staff at Bay Town Trolley has been the time of my life,” said Bragg. “Through this position I hope to make an impact not just on the trolley system, but within the Bay County community as a whole.”

Prior to joining the Navy, Bragg worked for both Florida Asphalt and the Florida Highway Patrol. Today, he enjoys running, working on cars, getting involved with church activities and most importantly spending time with his family. Bragg and his wife Renae have been married for 21 years and have two daughters.
