COVID-19 Policies & Guidelines

Working to Keep Your Transportation System Safe

Our riders’ safety has always been our top priority, which is why we have laid out basic policies and guidelines to do our part in helping stop the spread of COVID-19.

While riding or waiting to ride our buses, please observe the following rules and note that we have put additional measures in place for the health and safety of our riders and drivers.

The CDC is requiring all riders on public transportation to wear a mask. You must wear a mask to board the bus and your mask must remain on for the duration of your ride. This requirement applies to both Bay Town Trolley and Bay Area Transit.

Practice safe social distancing that allows for a 6-foot space between riders. We have blocked off seats on each but to allow for distanced seating.

Please sanitize your hands before and after your ride. We are in the process of installing hand sanitizers on each bus for your convenience.

We have implemented increased cleaning procedures on our vehicles, and we ask that you help us to keep vehicles clean by removing all belongings and trash when you exit the bus.

We ask that you do not board the bus if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms of if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

We are proud to have provided Bay County with continued service throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and we appreciate your assistance with making Bay Town Trolley a safe transportation option for our community. For any further questions involving COVID-19, please feel free to contact us.
